Biography

Miranda Di Grande was born in Germany on January 6, 1997.

As a child, she often went on trips to the ocean.

Miranda was seen on the beach bringing back washed-up sea life into the sea. Miranda is frequently asked what she associates with the oceans.

Miranda Di Grande

Miranda DiGrande is a German-born filmmaker, author, entrepreneur, and medical neuroscientist whose work bridges science, storytelling, and social impact. Growing up in a family of mathematicians and physicists, she developed an early mix of curiosity, logic, and imagination that still drives her approach today.

Her career began unexpectedly at 16, when she entered a major TV modelling competition and rose from 15,000 applicants to the semi-finals. This launched an international modelling career across Europe, Asia, and India and gave her early experience working across cultures and high-pressure environments.

At 19, she co-created a documentary with Prince Albert II of Monaco, combining her love for the ocean with her belief that film can inspire real environmental action. That project led to the founding of Colibri Productions, through which she has since developed TV formats, produced charity work, and collaborated with major networks across Australia, Asia, America, Europe and Africa.

Her entrepreneurial work includes co-founding a publishing company supporting emerging voices and serving as CEO and Founder of Champagne Plume Élégante, a brand built on craftsmanship, celebration, and precision. She also designed her own jewellery collection, centred around the hummingbird motif that has become part of her creative identity.

Alongside her artistic work, Miranda studies medical neuroscience and brings that knowledge into her storytelling, leadership, and humanitarian projects. She is the founder of the DiGrande Foundation and an active member of the German Ocean Foundation, focusing on sustainability, youth empowerment, and global responsibility.

Fluent in several languages and trained in multiple martial arts, she approaches both her personal and professional life with discipline, composure, and cultural sensitivity. Her background in Method Acting deepens her understanding of human behaviour, shaping the emotional honesty of her directing and writing.

Her debut memoir, published at 26, reflects her commitment to resilience, purpose, and meaningful impact.

Miranda is known for integrity, creativity, and reliability. She collaborates with partners who share her values and who aim to build work that benefits communities and the planet.
